  • The 54th Annual Milwaukee Juneteenth Jubilee Parade will have the theme, “Juneteenth – A Celebration of Love, Life, and Freedom,” honoring the rich history, culture, and resilience of our community. Save the date for Thursday, June 19!
    • Milwaukee is home to one of the longest running Juneteenth Day celebrations in the country.
    • Join in for an unforgettable celebration featuring vibrant floats, electrifying marching bands, dynamic dance teams, and an array of exciting activities! Plus, faith-based, non-profit, community, and education organizations have the opportunity to compete for monetary awards in the float, dance, and marching band competition.
    • The parade will be televised live on TMJ4 from 9 AM to 11 AM, and the historic parade route steps off at 14th & Atkinson Ave. and ends at Dr. MLK Jr. Drive & Locust St.
    • Juneteenth Jubilee parade 9-11 with 100+ participants
  • ABHM -America’s Black Holocaust Museum – for children and families throughout the week of Juneteenth with bookseller and library partners.
    • Celebrate Juneteenth at America Black Holocaust Museum with a week of inspiring festivities.
    • Join at 401 W. North Ave. for a rich array of activities. 
    • This year’s ABHM Juneteenth programming is part of Slice of History, a national event series organized by Made By Us and Pizza to the Polls during Civic Season. Designed to engage Gen Z in meaningful civic participation, the series offers a winning combination: learning something valuable, connecting with peers, visiting local museums—and enjoying free pizza. 
    • ABHM invites you to celebrate a longstanding Milwaukee tradition of Juneteenth (June 19th) both at the citywide festival hosted by the Northcott Neighborhood House and then visit to learn more about the history behind this important American holiday.
