Halloween is a fun time to trick or treat, and we like to go multiple times (see our Master Guide to Trick or Treating events in the area). This results in us loading up the Halloween bucket with a mountain of candy. And if you do have a mountain of candy and don’t know what to do with it, we suggest checking with your local dentist office on their Candy Buy Back Program. Yet, sadly, not all kiddos can have candy as our guest contributor Megan shared. Due to food allergies, more and more households are participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project. Megan gave some great tips on how to participate and where to buy non-candy Halloween treats, such as Oriental Trading. We have asked our readers about their favorite non-candy treats; gain some inspiration below!
As the mother of two girls, Erin takes an active role in the community. Find her on the go, taking advantage of every opportunity to experience new things.

Instead of candy I get mini play dough from Costco. Every year they have a package that has 50 in them. All the kids are excited when they get to pick one out. I’ve never heard complaints!
