If your house looks like a candy corn avalanche after trick-or-treating, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. Our Halloween Candy Buy Back guide helps families find local opportunities to do something meaningful with extra Halloween candy after trick-or-treating. Some participating dental offices pay by the pound and send candy to military support organizations, while other community groups collect candy for veterans or local charitable projects.

Halloween is Saturday, October 31, 2026. Candy buy-back events typically take place in the days immediately after Halloween, but each location sets its own schedule and participation rules.

Before the Halloween candy takes over your kitchen, bring your leftover candy to Delafield Family Dental’s 2026 Candy Buyback.

Delafield Family Dental will pay $1 per pound for up to 5 pounds of Halloween candy, giving each child the opportunity to earn up to $5. Children must be present to participate.

The sweetness doesn’t stop there! Collected candy will be sent overseas to U.S. troops, giving service members a little taste of home while they serve far away.

Clear out the candy stash, earn a little cash, and help share some Halloween sweetness with our service members.
