Waukesha’s Friday Night Live
August 20 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Friday, repeating until September 3, 2021
Waukesha’s Friday Night Live event is a family favorite of the original Lake Country Family Fun family. The streets are shut down and the kids can just be kids and sing and dance through the streets! The 2021 Waukesha Friday Night Live series is being hosted on 8 stages in downtown Waukesha that are sponsored by various businesses. The event starts at 6:30 pm and runs through 9:00 pm each Friday night. Gather your family and friend and come on down and relax, grab a bite to eat, listen to some music and what downtown Waukesha has to offer.
The series starts the first Friday in June and runs through August. In 2021 that means opening night is June 4 and the event will run through September 3. There will be no event on Friday, July 2, 2021.
***If it is raining, there will not be outdoor Friday Night Live, but many stages will move music indoors.***

***Special Friday Night Live: Friday, August 6, 6:30-9:00pm, Downtown Waukesha
Head to Downtown Waukesha for live music and food. While you’re there, visit the 125th Anniversary booth where you can find info on a walking tour of downtown landmarks, view historical photographs, share your story for the City’s anniversary time capsule and earn a chance to win prizes!
Plus, say hello to our friends at the Salvation Army.
Each Friday evening, we feature a different aspect of the Waukesha County unit, and on special nights volunteers for Kohl’s Corprate headquarters in Menomonee Falls volunteer to inflate and hand out helium balloons to our youngest Salvation Army supporters! Our booth is on West Main Street in front of the Milwaukee Pizza Company, across the street from the Clarke Hotel, and down the street from the popular People’s Park and Steaming Cup restaurants!
The Waukesha Salvation Army invests over $2-million annually, focused on the needs within Waukesha County, for services and programs to help the hungry, the homeless and others in-need. Work includes:
Operating the largest homeless shelter for men in Waukesha County;
Operating a large food pantry;
Providing free hot meals for hundreds, on three evenings per week in its dining hall;
Distributing tens of thousands of donated bakery items and loaves of bread;
Providing free backpacks of weekend food– for families– distributed through school;
Operating a volunteer-driven, summertime, every week day “Feed The Kids” program;
Conducting a popular Summer Day Camp program;
Offering varied programs to provide emergency help with prescriptions, utilities, and clothing;
At Christmas, managing a family “Toy Shop” so needy families can enjoy gifts for children, and
producing a series of entertaining countywide, fundraising Christmas Concerts;
Together with many other programs and services.
