Lake Geneva Winterfest

February 1 @ 11:00 am - 9:30 pm

Lake Geneva Winterfest

VISIT Lake Geneva and the City of Lake Geneva are proud to present the 29th Annual Winterfest, featuring the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Championship February 1 – February 4, 2024. As the only national snow sculpting championship in the United States, Winterfest welcomes the most talented and award-winning sculpting teams from across the country. Be here to witness 15 state-champion teams at work during an epic 3-day competition where their artistry is put to the test in creating remarkable, larger-than-life snow sculptures.

The snow sculpting competition begins at 11am Wednesday and continues through 1pm Saturday at Riviera Plaza and Flat Iron Park along the beautiful shore of Geneva Lake. It’s FREE to attend and view, and sculptures will remain on display through Sunday (and until they melt).

Also enjoy an array of more wintery fun throughout the Lake Geneva region during Winterfest. Don’t miss the Downtown Ice Sculpture Walk, bonfires on the beach, live entertainment, and much more for the whole family!

Lake Geneva Winterfest Schedule of Events

Plus, don’t forget the ICE CASTLES/WINTER REALMS LAKE GENEVA is open.
The snow sculpting competition runs Wednesday through Saturday in Flat Iron Park and Riviera Plaza, overlooking beautiful Geneva Lake. The snow sculpting competition is FREE to attend and view. Vote for your favorite sculpture in our People’s Choice Awards on Saturday. Sculptures will remain on display through Sunday and until they melt.
Also enjoy an array of more wintery fun during Winterfest, including a downtown ice sculpture tour, igloos and bonfires on the beach and so much more for the whole family.

*These snow sculptures are truly amazing! I’ve (Erin) personally been to this event three times (2015 and 2020 and 2023) to see and experience them and the work that goes into them. Highly recommend this event for a weekend of family fun and inspiration.
