Oconomowoc Community Theatre Production Invites All Ages to Auditions May 6 – 8, 2024
OCONOMOWOC, WI – Calling all aspiring actors, singers, and dancers! The beloved tale of “The Wizard of Oz’ is coming to life on the Oconomowoc Arts Center stage this July, and auditions are now open for talented performers to join the full production. This timeless story, filled with magic, friendship, and adventure, coincides with the 85th anniversary of the movie premiere in Oconomowoc.
Produced by Oconomowoc Community Theatre, this show will be of the highest caliber and include all the iconic favorites of Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion in the enchanting Land of Oz.
Auditions are open to performers of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to the stage, we welcome you to audition. Come show us your talent and be part of this unforgettable journey.
Audition Details:
• Youth auditions: May 6 & 7 from 5-6 pm
• Adult auditions: May 6, 7, and 8 from 6:30 – 9:30 pm
• Adult callbacks: May 9 from 6-9 pm
All auditions will be held at the OHS Little Theater.

Oconomowoc Community Theatre (OCT) is a nonprofit based in Oconomowoc which was founded in 2023. OCT will produce one summer show each year in the tradition of Oconomowoc’s successful Summer Theatre in the 1980s-90s. Their mission is to entertain audiences while creating an environment where adults and children may collaborate and create quality productions.
