Bring your family to the Barthel Fruit Farm Spring Event on May 25 and 26 in Mequon from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Barthel Fruit Farm Spring Event Details:

In addition to the normal herbs, perennials, annuals, succulents, and vegetable plants that they sell, for this weekend only, also find:

  • *A plant sale
  • *A local artist and handmade market. This will be the largest market yet!
    • The Glittering Squid
      • Artist, nature lover, science nerd, thrift fashionista. She brings the bling to what she creates. Here you’ll discover steampunk art and jewelry, tiki inspired creations and more!
    • Makery Maven
      • Specializes in all things custom and handmade; from lasercut wall art, to home goods, personalized gifts and more! They believe in repurposing and recycling whatever can be and truly love the creative process that comes with one-of-a-kind designs.
    • Big Cock Candles (Saturday only)
      • Local, handcrafted candle makers! Unique smells and clean burning both these companies make a high quality, long lasting product that you will be sure to love!
    • Hopps & Honey (Sunday only)
      • Local, handcrafted candle makers! Unique smells and clean burning both these companies make a high quality, long lasting product that you will be sure to love!
    • Indigo Thyme
      • Handcrafted artisan soaps and body products in Milwaukee, WI. Made in small batches, with the finest ingredients, to assure quality and freshness.
    • Jen Smith Glass
      • Artist, jewelry designer and maker. She creates one of a kind and limited edition jewelry and beautiful glass art.
    • Fuzzy Butts Dog Bakery
      • Homemade dog treats, all-natural and made in small batches. The treats are made with limited human grade ingredients. We sell everything from training treats to Birthday cakes. All treats are made fresh.
        No dog? No problem! She will also be bringing homemade freeze dried candy!
    • Kelsey Kings Pottery
      • Local Cedarburg crafter who specializes in beautiful pottery that is both functional and decorative and is inspired by the beauty that’s in everyday nature.
    • Roots and Stems
      • It will be weather dependent for what she will be bringing this year. We highly recommend talking with her about her flower subscriptions to enjoy the wonderful variety that comes throughout the year! Or stop by their farm this summer to visit their sunflower patch! If you got a bouquet or garlic from us this fall, these are the people who grew them!
    • Bob’s Wooden Bowls
      • A passion for woodworking led Bob to teaching high school and middle school students. From there his technique for bowls has been slowly modified it to make them more and more intricate. Each bowl has a unique, one-of-a-kind look. The grains, wood types, and other factors all play a role in creating these unique pieces.
  • *Frisbee golf through the orchard ($5.00 per person) Don’t own your own disc? Never played before, but want to try it? No problem! They have discs to rent!
  • *The beer garden will be open with beverages and grilling brats and hot dogs!
  • *The bakery will be baking some of your favorites (including cider donuts) plus some spring themed baked goods!
  • *Let the kids color while you shop at our children’s coloring area (free!)
  • *Get creative at the crafts table and rock painting station!

 

Free admission – except there will be a fee for frisbee golf.

The greenhouse will be opening for the season April 26th through June 9th.  Their hours will be daily 9am-5pm. Come early for the largest variety!
