Irish Fest

Milwaukee Irish Fest is the world’s largest celebration of Celtic music and culture. The four-day festival showcases more than 100 entertainment acts on 18 stages at Henry W.   • The WI State Fair

    • The Wisconsin State Fair will begin on Thursday, August 2 and run through Sunday, August 12, 2018. The fair offers a unique experience to all who attend and is an exceptional value with 30 FREE entertainment stages, exciting rides and games in SpinCity, thousands of animals, endless family activities, events, contests, vendors and culinary delights.     • Kohl’s Family Day is Monday, August 6.
  • Mke Irish Fest!

    • Milwaukee Irish Fest is the world’s largest celebration of Celtic music and culture. The four-day festival showcases more than 100 entertainment acts on 17 stages at Henry W. Maier Festival Park on Milwaukee’s lakefront. Mark your calendars for the 38th annual Milwaukee Irish Fest taking place on August 16th through 19th, 2018.
  • Zoo A La Carte!

    • The summer heat marks the arrival of one of Milwaukee’s favorite fests, returning for the 34th year at the Milwaukee County Zoo. This year’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel a la Carte presented by Meijer, August 16 through August 19, 2018, features 26 area restaurants offering a variety of flavors that will leave you craving more, in addition to top national and local bands performing throughout the Zoo grounds!

 

Waukesha County August Festivals!

 

  • Jackson’s Jam Music Festival 

    • Jackson’s Jam Music Festival is back for it’s third year. Bring your family to this fun, family-friendly charity event on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the newly renovated Okauchee Lions Park! This event includes live music all day, food from Texas Roadhouse, Culver’s Custard Station, kids activities, raffles, silent auction and more! Gates open at 3:00 pm.
  • Oconomowoc’s Festival Week! Including the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts.

    • Oconomowoc Festival Week is a week that we look forward to every year!  There are so many things to do that keep the whole family entertained.  The week starts with Kids Fest at Roosevelt Park and Kids Day at the Beach on Tuesday, August 14th and ends with the Festival of the Arts over the weekend on August 18th and 19th.
    • The Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts is considered one of the top outdoor fine art festivals in the Midwest. It is held on the beautiful shores of Fowler Lake at Fowler Park. This volunteer-run Festival works hard to make this a rewarding event for both the artists and attendees.   • Ixonia Town and Country Days!

    • The Ixonia Lions Club Annual Ixonia Town and Country Days Festival will be on August 18th and 19th. There will be truck pulls, food, and live music! The giant parade starts at 11:00 am on Sunday.

 

  • St. James Parish Festival

    • St. James Parish is having their annual festival on August 24th through the 26th, 2018. There will be live music, fireworks, and a raffle!

 

  • Sussex Engine Show 

    • Imagine a County Fair, Church Social, and a Family Reunion all merged into one event! Mark your calendars for August 25 and 26!

 

  • Muskego Fest

    • Muskego Fest is the largest free admission festival in Southeastern Wisconsin. They feature great entertainment, tasty food, and more! The fun starts Thursday, August 23th, 2018!
