Stories at the Marsh

FreeNew this winter, the Friends of the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitors Center will also be offering a Saturday Stories at the Marsh! Join in for stories, activities and time outside! These programs are best suited for families with children between the ages of 1 and 6 years.
January 9 & 11:
Stories at the Marsh: Look Again 10-11 am. Sometimes it takes a double look to see an animal in front of us. Through stories and activities uncover how creatures of all kinds use camouflage to survive. Ages 1-6 years.
February 13 & 15:
Stories at the Marsh: Do Frogs Drink Hot Chocolate? 10-11 am. Join us and discover how animals keep warm in the winter through stories and activities. Hot chocolate will be enjoyed after our walk around Goose Pond. Ages 1-6 years.
March 12 & 14:
Stories at the Marsh: Spring Forward 10-11 am. From icicles to pussy willows and snowbanks to green grass, spring is the time for new life. Let’s go for a walk and observe how the earth is coming alive again after the cold winter. Ages 1-6 years.Free and open to the public.
The Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center is located on Hwy 28 between the cities of Horicon and Mayville.
