When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. At Brio, they want to create a safe and fun learning environment where young actors feel free to be creative! This means that the cast auditions together as a group. Auditioning together helps the cast bond and support each other instead of making the experience competitive. They believe that every student should learn how to audition without the extra stress or pressure! Each student is given an equal chance to audition for their top choice. They want to start off each production with actors who are confident and excited to perform!
