The Tyke Hike:

Tyke Hikes are back! Come on out for a FREE family friendly hike on the Ice Age Trail. Moving at a “toddler’s pace,” we will stop to explore and enjoy the surroundings as we go. This guided hike will be led by local and Chapter-affiliated parents.

Check out the newly revamped Hartland Marsh boardwalk and walk the 1-ish mile loop with other kids and families. This is a family friendly tyke hike with parking available. Come learn about the Ice Age Trail!

Tyke Hike Details:

This out-and-back hike will total approximately 1 mile. Everyone will check out the revamped Hartland Marsh boardwalk. This paved section of the trail is stroller-friendly but is not maintained in the winter. Please dress and prepare accordingly. If weather conditions are unsafe we will cancel. Recommended for ages 2-8, but all ages are welcome. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Christina Callies, Aliza Shafer, and McKenna Olson organized this hike. There is no fee for this activity. *Note: They love furry friends, but dogs are not allowed on a section of this trail, so please leave them at home.
