Head to the Waukesha County Airport on October 7 for Steins for Scouting Airtoberfest.
Steins for Scouting Airtoberfest
Last year was a hit, so we’re bringing it back! Join us for the second annual vehicle perimeter road parade.
To participate in the parade, please meet on the North Ramp with your vehicle, motorcycle, tug, go kart, golf cart–or anything creative no later than 11:45am. You’ll be directed to stage in a line. Access the airfield through Gate 5 on the north side of the airport which we’ll have open for the event, or take the perimeter road to the Gold Hangar. Get creative. Awards will be given out in the following categories:
- Best in Show (Most Creative Mode of Transportation)
- Best Costume
- Most Spirited
The parade will start promptly at noon and follow the route on the map below concluding with a celebration at Steins for Scouting Airtoberfest. Stay for the fun for $20 which will include beer, food, music, entertainment, raffles, and a silent auction. If you would like to partake in Airtoberfest, tickets can be purchased on the Steins for Scouting Airtoberfest website or at the door.
No vehicle? No go-kart? No problem! Feel free to line the parade route and cheer on your airport neighbors!
