Howl-O-Ween, Howl-at-Home

The Retzer Nature Center’s popular event, Howl-O-Ween is now Howl-at-Home in 2020. This is a Halloween themed evening, filled with scare-free entertainment and activities the whole family will enjoy – virtually!
Families can participate on Facebook and the virtual rec center.
The Howl at Home event will span a few days versus a few hours this year:
- Monday, October 26 – Parks in Autumn Facebook Photo Challenge!
- Submit your favorite fall photos enjoying City or County Parks! They would love to see you enjoying the beautiful fall colors, kicking around a ball, or jumping in the leaves!
- Post one of your favorite fall photos to The City of Waukesha or Waukesha County Parks Facebook page.
- Tuesday, October 27 – Let’s make a CRAFT!
- Head to The City of Waukesha or the Waukesha County Parks Facebook page to watch the video and make this not so scary BOO-tiful Bat craft.
- Wednesday, October 28 – Watch a Video!
- Check out the Waukesha County or The City of Waukesha Facebook page for a Retzer Nature Center “Spooky” Animal Encounters Video: “The Mysterious World of Bats”.
- Thursday, October 29 – Let’s make a CRAFT!
- Head to The City of Waukesha or the Waukesha County Parks Facebook page to watch the video and make some not so scary creatures.
- Friday, October 30 – Watch a Video!
- Check out the Waukesha County or The City of Waukesha Facebook page for a Retzer Nature Center “Spooky” Animal Encounters Video: “Be Nice to Spiders”.
