Check out this new event that kicked off in fall 2021! Join the HAWS’ Staff at their new farm property – Schallock Center for Animals – for Tales by the Fire!

Come enjoy the outdoors with your family at the Schallock Center for Animals. Bring a picnic dinner and/or hike the trails and then join the HAWS staff around the campfire for a story followed by a campfire treat. Friday nights, 5:30-7:30.

From 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, listen to a story around the campfire.

Tales by the Fire will occur on one Friday per month: September 17; October 8; November 5, 2021; March 25, April 22, May 20, 2022

Families must register in advance and there is a minimum donation recommended of $10 per family – Register HERE.

*In September 2021, Lake Country mom, Jacqueline E. and her family registered, attended and were the only ones at the event. They received top notch treatment! Staff built a fire, and Pete’s Pops was present. Jacqueline relayed that her children had a blast as it was basically a private tour. Of course they found out about the event through Lake Country Family Fun, and we’re so happy to help their family make unforgettable memories!
