It’s almost that time! Time for the Holidays. What is the first step in creating Christmas cheer? It’s getting out with your family to get that perfect Christmas tree. We’ve put together a Christmas Tree Farm guide below of various Christmas Tree locations (including u-cut and pre-cut) in southeastern Wisconsin. Some locations in our list allow pets, one has reindeer, two have a free petting zoo, one has wagon rides, and many have free holiday treats/drinks for you while you shop. Be sure to check them out!

HOLIDAY EVENT & CHRISTMAS TREE SALE – NEW BERLIN

The two-day event is on Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
*On Saturday, Santa and his helpers will be on-site! You can also enjoy “Christmas Carols in the Preserve” from 2:00 – 3:00 pm that day.
Cut-Your-Own Christmas tree for $50 donation per tree. They have many different tree species available in all shapes and sizes, as well as pine bundles for $5. This preserve was planted as a Christmas tree farm in the 1980’s, and most species that were planted are not native to southeastern Wisconsin. As they work to restore this prairie back to it’s natural state, these non-native trees will need to be removed to make space for native plants and wildlife. By harvesting your own tree, you are playing a role in this prairie restoration!
*If you don’t want to cut-your-own tree, they will have staff and volunteers on site to cut one for you!

Country Side Trees is our family’s other business, our Christmas tree farm! This is the 70-acre property on which our store is located. Closed Thanksgiving Day and only open until noon Christmas Eve.
We have cut your own Christmas trees as well as freshly cut trees to choose from. We make our own wreaths and garland with boughs that grow on our farm. We also have bundles of boughs and grave blankets for sale. Our gift shop is full of holiday decor, ornaments, gifts, and everyone’s favorite CST Antlers dog bones!

Community members, guests, and supporters are invited to visit Zachariah’s Acres to enjoy a holiday event like no other. Decorate your home with a beautiful, freshly cut fir or pine tree. All trees are grown in WI; most are pre-cut for your convenience. Sip cocoa by the bonfire, take a hay wagon ride, sing Christmas Carols, and select your family Christmas tree. Ornament and cookie kits to assemble at home will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
TREE PRICING: $15/foot suggested donation (each foot allows us to serve two special guests for a day)

Their family farm has been raising Christmas Trees for over 50 years. In our field you will find a wide variety of tree species. They grow Fraser Fir, Concolor Fir, White Pine, Scotch Pine, White Spruce, and Blue Spruce. Also, for your convenience, they have a great selection of fresh from the field pre-cut trees which consist of Balsam Fir, Fraser Fir, Concolor Fir, and White Pine.
They also offer a beautiful selection of wreaths, roping (garland), kissing balls, door swaths, hanging pots, evergreen boughs, table top trees, and other evergreen decorations. All of which are made fresh at their location from the trees grown in our field. They will ship small wreaths and trees anywhere in the United States.
Their warm and cozy indoor gift shop sells everything necessary for a Christmas Tree, plus many other Christmas decorations. This gift shop provides complimentary hot apple cider and coffee, which is perfect when warming up after the delightful excursion of finding the perfect tree.
No trip to Tannenbaum Acres is complete without visiting some of the animals on display including their resident Reindeer. So bring your family and leashed pets and come jump on their hay wagon or bobsled, and let them help you make Christmas memories.

You can cut your own tree or pick one from our pre-cut selection. There are home-made treats and food in the Christmas shop, trail walks, and a campfire where you can make your own s’mores.
They provide saws for cut-your-own. Cutting your own can only be done during daylight. Ends at 4:00 pm. Dogs are allowed with a leash. We accept cash and credit cards. If you want to bring a sled to pull your tree out of the field by hand, you can; they are not provided.
Lighted Trail walk They are open for the lighted Christmas tree walk to Santa starting December 2 from 4:30-6pm. Last walker should be checked in by 6:00 pm. With your ticket you receive a s’more kit to make at any of the campfires and a hot cocoa. Tickets are $10, under 2 is free. Trails without heavy snow are good for strollers. Wagon rides are on Thursdays only from 4:30-6. Tickets are $5 2 and under are free.

Cozy Nook Farm opens the Friday after Thanksgiving with a large variety of trees and Christmas decorations. They carry Fraser, Balsam and Cannon fir trees grown and fresh cut locally in Wisconsin. Their trees often sell out by mid-December so make plans to come out early and pick your favorite!
