REASONS TO HAVE YOUR GROCERY DELIVERED OR TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF STORE PICK UP {WHERE YOU DON’T HAVE TO GET OUT OF YOUR CAR}:

Time – A great reason to do grocery delivery or pick up services and it is to save time (am I right?)
Weather – It’s too cold out, or hot out or it’s raining.
Kids – Some days you just aren’t in the mood to drag the kids in the store with you. And if they are strapped in their car seats securely, you may not want to unbuckle and re-buckle them.
Convenience – You are busy juggling work and life and taking one step out of your day will do a lot of good. Also you can “Shop” 24/7 at your convenience online.
Disability –You may not be physically able to go to the store and walk around for food.

General Tips:

A lot of times your credit card will not be charged until the “shopper” has physically grabbed your items (weighed them) and finalized the order.
Also, most let you leave notes for your “shopper” such as “please only green bananas” or “avocados that are hard to the touch”.
Tips are not required, but are appreciated. Each store has a different policy.
Substitutions may be applied to your order (unless you specify otherwise) and you will not be charged for out of stock items.

Meijer Launches Enhanced mPerks Program to Help Customers Earn on Every Dollar Spent

Building on the success of the retailer’s popular digital coupon and rewards program, Meijer announced today (February 27, 2023) that it is revamping mPerks to make it even easier for customers to save on the products they need and want.

The enhanced mPerks program will allow for more personalized rewards and savings, with customers now earning points for every dollar spent* and every qualifying prescription filled, along with additional opportunities to earn even more points.

“Meijer is committed to providing value and convenience for our customers, and the changes we’ve made to mPerks expands on both by offering more personalized savings, along with more opportunities to earn points,” Meijer Vice President of Customer Strategy Derek Steele said. “We want to ensure we’re continuing to provide personalized value while also making the experience fun and engaging.”

Meijer has millions of total mPerks users. In the first half of 2022, mPerks customers saved more than $100 million on their purchases.

Changes customers will notice include:

Purchases now earn points, which customers can apply toward the savings of their choice
Each qualifying prescription filled now earns points, instead of every five prescriptions filled
Points expire after 90 days, as opposed to 45 days in current system
Customers choose when and how they want to redeem points for additional savings

Customers’ existing unclaimed rewards will automatically transition to the new program with the same value. Any in-progress rewards, as well as existing pharmacy credits, will be transferred to the new program as points.

Grocery Delivery in Lake Country and Waukesha County

Shipt delivers from Meijer in Sussex and Waukesha to some Waukesha County Zip Codes

To order groceries to be delivered to your home (in as little as 1 hour), you need to have a Shipt membership. You can choose from a yearly option ($99 per year) or a month-to-month membership ($10.99 per month). You can order from your local Meijer store using the free shopmeijer app! (Check zip code for eligibility). After you have signed up for a membership open the shopmeijer app on your phone or desktop. Then, select your items, choose a payment option, pick a delivery time, and place your order. Note: Be sure to put your zip code in the Shipt page to see if they can deliver to YOUR location.

StoneBank Farm Market

They will be taking “call-in” grocery orders only Wednesday-Saturday from 10-3 pm
1. Call-In to place your grocery order and pay with your credit card over the phone
2. Designate a pick up time between 10 am-3 pm

ShopWoodmans delivers from Woodmans in Waukesha or Menomonee Falls

I’ve personally done this. I love it and it’s simple. Just go to the ShopWoodmans website and pick “Delivery” and enter your location. Then pick your delivery window and get shopping! Use code, “1storder” to get $10 off your first order. Delivery is $9.95 per order. Minimum order is $50. The service charge is $4.95, but that is waived if you spend $100+. I’ve never had a problem with the grocery delivery process. I love the options for natural/organic food at Woodmans and I love that I don’t have to drive the 45 minutes round trip (plus shopping time!) to get all of my favorites!

COSTCO Two-Day Delivery or Same Day via Instacart

With its two-day delivery service, Costco delivers items marked on-site as “CostcoGrocery” to your house, offering free delivery on orders of $75 or more. The two-day service excludes fresh and refrigerated foods, but includes a range of items such as cereal, canned vegetables, toiletries and soda cans. The same day delivery service powered by instacart is available for select zip codes and prices are higher than your local warehouse and include service and delivery. The order minimum is $35.

Sendiks Express Delivery

Brookfield (Corners) and New Berlin Sendiks locations offer delivery (verify address with delivery range) which entails a $50 minimum order
• Currently offering two delivery windows: 9-12 am and 2-5 pm
• Sendik’s Express Curbside Pickup is $5.95. Have your order delivered for an additional $10! ($15.95 total delivery fee)

Instacart

Try it free to 2 weeks. Here is a link for $20 off your first order. Free delivery on all orders $35 and more. After the free trial, $99 yearly cost or $9.99/month. Enter your zip code here to see what local stores by you are included. Delivery fees start at $3.99 for same day orders over $35. Instacart+ members get free delivery on orders over $35. When I entered 53066 as location the options for Instacart were ALDI, PIGGLY WIGGLY and PICK N SAVE.

Amazon Fresh Grocery Delivery

Amazon Fresh is a U.S. grocery delivery and pickup service that operates mainly with Whole Foods Market, which Amazon owns. Amazon Fresh is now free with Prime for orders over $35.

GROCERY PICKUP IN LAKE COUNTRY AND WAUKESHA COUNTY

Meijer Curbside Pickup

Meijer pick-up service is offered at no charge on orders over $35 on Meijer.com
The Meijer pickup program does not require membership
No markup on items, which means you can enjoy the same sales and promotions offered in store- like 10/$10 and Buy 5, Save $5!
Customers have access to more than 100,000 items online, including grocery, general merchandise, toys, electronics, beauty care, and houseware items
Customers can order online, keep track of their total basked, use mPerks rewards and coupons, note any preferences and choose an available time for pickup (I just placed an order and there were tons of pickup times available.)
Customers text when they arrive at a store and park in assigned area near the store
Meijer pickup service is available from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week
Pickup Instructions:
- Drive to the designated Meijer pickup area and follow instructions on the sign to let them know you’ve arrived
- A Meijer Team member will review your order with you when they bring it to your vehicle
- Tips are not accepted on pickup orders at some locations, including Sussex

Sentry Delafield offers online grocery shopping with curbside pickup

Albrecht’s Sentry in Delafield offers curbside pickup service. Go to their website here and select a location and pick up time. Then, browse through the online aisles, or search for your favorite products to add them to your virtual cart! When you have everything you need, select checkout and follow the prompts to enter payment and delivery information. At this time, the fee for pickup is $5.99 and there is a minimum spend of $25. When you have arrived and safely parked in the designated “curbside pick-up zone” in front of the store, click the link via text/email to let us know you have arrived. Wait in your vehicle for a staff member to bring your groceries to your car. We will be happy to load them into your vehicle and you’ll be on your way! New: Select beer and wine items can be added to your order (must show ID upon pick up). *Delivery is now offered through Instacart and requires a $25 minimum spend.

Kroger Pickup (Pick n Save)

Kroger Pickup is an online ordering service from Kroger. You can shop online for the products you need and pick up your order at the store from the convenience of your car! Our Associates will even bring out your order and load it into your car. You can either reserve a pickup time before adding items to your cart or while you’re viewing your shopping cart. First, select a Pickup store. Once you’ve selected your store, you will need to select a date and time to receive your order. When you arrive at your store, follow the signs to the Pickup area. Call the number on the sign to let us know you’ve arrived. An Associate will bring your order out to your vehicle. We’ll load your groceries, and you’ll be on your way in minutes! Save $15 on your first pick-up or delivery order. After that there is a $4.95 service fee. If you don’t require same-day delivery, you may also select Kroger Delivery for next-day service. Fees begin at $6.95.

Walmart

Simply go to the website, click your store/location. Pick a pick-up time, shop and checkout! IT IS FREE!!! There is a $30 minimum charge.

Target

Simply select “Drive Up” as the fulfillment option when placing an order through the Target app. Target will notify you when your order is ready—usually within one hour. Hit the “I’m on the Way” button when you’re ready to head to the store. Park in a designated Drive Up spot, and within two minutes a team member will have the order at your car, ready to be loaded into the trunk or backseat.

ALDI

Aldi has partnered with Instacart to bring Curbside pickup to various Waukesha County Aldi locations (there are 8 ALDI Waukesha County locations!). Fee is $4.99 per order. Download the Aldi app or order online h ere.
