106th Annual Milwaukee City Christmas Tree Lighting
City Hall – Corner of Water & Wells
Join Mayor Tom Barrett in a century-old tradition. Hear music from local choirs, ensembles and theater groups then partake in the countdown. The electrified evergreen will shine at 5:29 p.m. After the lighting, walk over the Kilbourn Avenue bridge to the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival Kick-Off Extravaganza in Pere Marquette Park.

The stage is set for the city’s biggest and brightest holiday party! Help turn on more than 500,000 lights throughout downtown. Local acts will charge up the crowd with spirited numbers. Free cookies and cocoa will be presented courtesy of Taste of Home at the Kick-Off Extravaganza! Snag yours and cozy up with the family to take in the show.
Once the crowd is powered up, downtown’s lights and a fireworks spectacular will illuminate the night. After the show, free Jingle Bus rides will take guests past downtown’s newly lit scenes.
