Top 5 Things to Do at The Corners this December

This is a sponsored post.

As you know, Lake Country Family Fun is a big fan of The Corners of Brookfield. We have been thoroughly enjoying all the new developments since our first visit to The Corners back on that rainy day in April 2017, from walking around The Corners shopping, dining al fresco at Cafe Hollander, eating pizza there as a family, or attending their first annual tree lighting event; walking around the square with specialty stores and delicious eats on every corner, feels a bit like a mini-vacation. Plus, The Corners of Brookfield speaks our love language of supporting the community, too, and giving back through various events and promotions. I urge you, if you have not already, to stop by and check out all the things to do they have in store for you this December. You’ll be glad you did. You’re welcome 🙂

Lake Country Family Fun’s Top 5 Things to Do
at The Corners this December

  • 1. Visit Santa! Santa at Von Maur at the Corners of Brookfield
    • My kids love visiting Santa. When they were itty-bitty, they thought he was a bit scary, but now they love this jolly ‘ol fella! They love visiting him and telling him what they want and all the good things they have been doing. Plus, what’s more festive that seeing Santa at this time of year?
    • Luckily, The Corners of Brookfield has so many opportunities to visit Santa this December!
      • Santa will be at Von Maur on December 3, 9, 10 and 16 from Noon to 5:00 pm. You can find him on the lower level of the store by their beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Bring your camera and enjoy this opportunity to capture FREE pictures with Santa! Afterwards, head over to the children’s apparel area and say hi to the talking tree.
      • If you are hungry, be sure to have Brunch with Santa at Cafe Hollander on Saturday, December 16th from Noon to 3:00 pm.
      • Santa will be at Sendik’s on Saturday, December 16 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Bring your camera and enjoy Christmas music by the Caribbean Eclipse Duo, while taking pictures of your child with Santa. More info here.
  • 2. Enjoy a night out at Grimaldi’s
    • Grimaldi’s has delicious pizza for everyone to enjoy, whether you go as a family like Lake Country Family Fun did or you enjoy a night out, leaving the kiddos at home. Be sure to check out their Tuesday Tastings, where you can enjoy HALF OFF glasses, carafes and bottles of wine all day every Tuesday. Sounds like a moms night out to me 😉
  • 3. Donate to Local Causes
    • Lake Country Family Fun is all about giving and supporting our local community, and we love to support businesses who feel the same way. Corners of Brookfield FM106 Toys for Tots
    • Shop at Twigs on Thursday, December 7th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, and they will donate 10% to the Ronald McDonald’s House.
    • Please join The Corners of Brookfield and FM106.1 for their Toys 4 Tots Toy Drive on Friday, December 15th from 5:00 am to 10:00 am, in their community room. You can do this by bringing in your donation of new, unwrapped toys for kiddos in need so everyone can have a merry Christmas. The Ridder, Scott & Shannen Morning Show will be broadcasting LIVE during the event! So don’t miss this one!
  • 4. Make and Take ornaments or Learn Origami at Papersource
    • Are you a crafty? Papersource at The Corners of Brookfield offers many opportunities this month to let your creative side flow, whether you are looking for fun activities for yourself or activities to do with your children.

  • 5. Find Unique Gifts for Everyone on Your List
    • Have you shopped at The Corners yet and strolled through their selection of stores? With such a variety of stores, you’ll find one of kind items that your children, secret Santa, or your special one will actually want and love. No one wants a standard gift from the big box store. Trust me. Plus, they offer gifts at all price points.
    • With shops at The Corners such as Anthropologie, Altar’d State, Arhaus, Bonness, DAVIDsTEA, Evereve, Francesca’s, Free People,  J. Jill, Kendra Scott, lululemon athletica, L.L.Bean, Paper Source, Scout and Molly’s, Sendik’s, Twigs, and Von Maur, there is no shortage of unique gifts for your holiday events this year!
