4th of July Event Guide Lake Country family Fun fireworks parades celebrations

The Annual Okauchee Lake 4th of July Fireworks will be on July 2nd this year (2023) and shot off at sundown. Display is, as always, in the island between the Golden Mast and the Hide-Away.

Bring your family to the Okauchee Lake 4th of July Fireworks! Join the Okauchee Lake community in celebrating our independence at the Fireworks Extravaganza on July 2nd, at dusk, about 9:30 pm in the channel.

The fireworks will be shot off of ISLAND PARK – the island between the Golden Mast & The Hideaway Bar & Grill on Okauchee Lake.
The Venetian Night Lighted Boat Parade is sponsored by the Okauchee Lake Yacht Club (OLYC). The Venetian Night lighted boat parade will start the event at approximately 8:30 pm. Boats for the parade need to be decorated and meet at party island at 8:00 pm. The parade leaves Party Island at 8:30 pm and will arrive at the mouth of the Channel by 9:00 pm. There is no cost to register your boat and participants will be escorted by local boat patrol. For more information about the boat parade or the Okauchee Lake Yacht Club, please contact: Susan Kay at 262-569-5993 or see the Okauchee Lake Yacht Club website.

THE GREATEST SHOW IN LAKE COUNTRY WISCONSIN SALUTE THE STARS AND STRIPES AND HONOR INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH THIS INSPIRATIONAL FIREWORKS SHOW

The fireworks are shot off just after dusk, approximately 9:30 or 9:45 pm.

*Lake Country Family Fun has watched these fireworks in past years and absolutely loved the show!! In 2018, 2021, and 2022 we watched from our boat right in front of the Island, and it was AMAZING!

*The best place to watch the fireworks is from a boat in the lake. You can view the fireworks from the bridge by Foolery’s, but that is not the most family friendly location. The Golden Mast is another popular location to watch the fireworks from land, but they are busy.

The organizers of the event are in the fundraising process. If you feel so inclined to donate, please do so HERE.
