The City of Oconomowoc 4th of July Fireworks are will be set off at dusk from Fowler Lake! Dusk is usually around 9:30 pm. Please remember proper physical distancing and safety while viewing fireworks. Oconomowoc ALWAYS celebrates the Saturday prior to the 4th of July.

The Friends of Oconomowoc Parks and Trails Fireworks Celebration is happening AGAIN this year!! Yay!

Friends of Oconomowoc Parks and Trails (FOPT) will host its annual Independence Day Fireworks Celebration & Fundraiser on Saturday, June 29th at John & Lavinia Rockwell Park, 525 N. Lake Road, in Oconomowoc. Beginning at 6:30 pm FOPT will provide festive live music in the park by local musicians. The “Friends” will also sell picnic food and non-alcoholic beverages. This year’s donations will support park improvements including bicycle, kayak, and paddleboard racks along with potential game tables on the Fowler Lake Boardwalk. The celebration is free to attend. In addition to the celebration, there are premium reserved fireworks viewing spaces that can be reserved in advance of the 29th on the non-profit’s website, www.oconparksandtrails.org

Road and Parking Lot Closures for the Independence Day Fireworks Saturday, June 29th, 2024:
• Fowler Lake Municipal Parking Lot: 5 pm
• Fowler Park: parking lot closed 5 pm
• Lisbon Road (from North Lake Road to Greenland Avenue): 5 pm
