Swim with a Mermaid is presented by Lake Country Family Fun and sponsored by Goldfish Swim School in Brookfield, featuring the mermaids of Fairytale Birthday Company. This is one of our signature events that we debuted in 2018!
Lake Country Family Fun has fallen in love with Goldfish Swim School ever since they told us about their 90 degree pool area. I am ALWAYS cold and love the warm, so this is pretty amazing! Grab your swimming suits and jump in!
Lake Country Family Fun loves promoting all the family fun in the Lake Country and greater Waukesha County area, but we also love HOSTING family fun events! We have a blast every year throwing Hartland Kids Day in Nixon Park, and we can’t wait for fall to see you all again. So, come swim with us and a MERMAID at Goldfish Swim School in Brookfield this November 2026!
Swim with a Mermaid Details
Jump into fall and swim with a mermaid with Lake Country Family Fun at Goldfish Swim School in Brookfield this November! Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 8, 2026 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Families will need to pick a time to swim: 4:00 pm to 5:oo pm OR 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There is a ticket price of $15 per swimmer to attend. Only 40 swimmers per time slot will be able to attend due to capacity limits.
***If you are not planning to swim, you do not need a ticket!! If you are an adult and you will remain in your dry clothes, please do not purchase a ticket. You can bring a friend or grandma along to watch at no fee, if you all stay dry.
***AGAIN, tickets are for swimmers only!!
Please plan to be at the event for the entire 2 hours, as we will have entertainment in the lobby. Find photo opportunities and a balloon twisting pirate in the lobby area for photo opportunities. Be sure to bring your camera! We will also have swag bags for swag bags for the swimmers, snacks, and mermaid themed crafts to do as well!
Swim with a Mermaid Highlights
Outside of the swim area, Aspire Dance Center will be making waves with enchanting mermaid crafts and sparkling crowns that your little ones will adore! With dance classes for ages 12 months to 18 years, convenient schedules, and family-friendly costuming, discover why parents and kids alike LOVE Aspire Dance Center! Stop by their table to join the fun, decorating crowns and checking out a mermaid themed craft!
Emily Schultz, agency owner of Magic Mom Travel will be ready to talk to you about your next Disney vacation! Swim like a mermaid aboard a Disney Cruise Line sailing or visit Ariel at Walt Disney World, but before your trip stop by the Magic Mom Travel to pick up a mermaid bracelet craft!
Little Dipperz from Hartland will also be serving ice cream at the event for purchase. They will be donating 20% of the proceeds to the Waukesha Christmas Clearing Council as well. We are so excited to have them back with their fun mermaid tails! Let’s make this the best Christmas yet for families in need in Waukesha County.
Moreland OB-GYN has generously donated the 80 swag bags again! Each swimmer will be able to take a branded swag bag home!

Giving Back through Swim with A Mermaid
Admission is $15 per swimmer (if the child or adult are going in the water, they need a ticket.) Children must be with their adults – this is not a drop off event. Adults do not have to swim, though. 10% of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to local charity, the Waukesha Christmas Clearing Council. The Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County (CCC) promotes and coordinates giving to families in need during the Christmas season. They match qualifying families with area groups, families, businesses, and individuals who wish to help bring holiday joy on a person-to-person basis. In 2025, CCC coordinated giving to more than 2,000 families and nearly 4,300 children in Waukesha County.

Please purchase your family ticket in advance. This event always sells out! Tickets will not be available on the day of the event.
