Upper Nemahbin Annual Fireworks will be on Sunday, July 11th at dusk, around 9:15 pm.

The debate rages every Upper Nemahbin Lake Management District annual meeting.  While many Lake Management District Members plan their whole summer around the District annual fireworks display, others find the use of tax dollars for a twenty minute fireworks display abhorrent.  In the interest of both putting on a more magnificent event and the reduction of tax dollars spent on twenty minutes of sweet glory, your Upper Nemahbin Lake Management District Board is maintaining an account where members of the District and the public at large can donate to a reduction in taxes allocated for the fireworks AND an increased spectacle in celebration of the of the Declaration Of Independence and the birth of the United States of America, at the same time.

This Upper Nemahbin Lake Management District Board is both compelled by the desire of Management District members to be frugal, conserving every penny of tax dollars collected and the desire of Lake Management District Members to have one event that transcends the everyday beauty and luxury of lake life on our beloved Upper Nemahbin every year.  One event celebrating the foundation of the freedom, liberty and rights all Upper Nemahbin Lake Management District members enjoy every day.
