Below find daily events run by the Waukesha 4H and UW Extension held at the Waukesha County Fair/during the Waukesha County Fair – my kids love the activities run by the Waukesha 4H and UW Extension! All of the following specific events happen in the Forum (North Hall) Kid Zone.

Extension Waukesha County 4-H is collaborating with a variety of organizations to provide educational opportunities for youth at the 4-H Kids Zone during the Waukesha County Fair July 15-19, 2026. The purpose of the Kids Zone is to create fun, interactive learning experiences that encourage children to explore, experiment, and play together in a safe and inclusive environment. Through hands on activities, the 4-H Kids Zone supports youth development, promotes lifelong learning, and offers families meaningful ways to connect, relax, and enjoy their fair experience. The 4-H Kids Zone will have a steady flow of free activities each day from noon to 4 pm and 4-H Bingo beginning at 6 pm each day except Sunday. Last year, over 3,000 youth and adults participated in the indoor and outdoor Kids Zone activities. PLUS – Lake Country Family Fun is volunteering this year with some activities. Find us on Thursday afternoon!

Hungry? 4-H youth, volunteers & clubs will also be working at the Forum Food Stand & Dairy Bar. Did you know that each of the Waukesha 4-H clubs takes shifts in the kitchen and dairy bar to prep & serve food? This is one of the largest 4-H fundraisers at the Fair for the whole year! Be sure to visit and grab a bite to eat!
