The Emma Loves Dogs Foundation was created on August 30th, 2019, Emma’s 8th birthday. Eight months earlier we didn’t know if we would celebrate that day with her after her DIPG brain tumor diagnosis however she beat the odds and made it to her birthday and the kick off of her foundation. She passed away on November 17th, 2019 after a ten month battle against cancer but her legacy will continue to carry on through the Emma Loves Dogs Foundation. The “Paws in the Park” annual event will celebrate her 13th birthday and the 5 year anniversary of the foundation.

Celebrate with the Emma Loves Dogs Foundation for the annual Paws in the Park event at Nixon Park. They are celebrating what would have been Emma’s 13th birthday with music, performances by LC Dance, a beer garden, food trucks and a raffle. There will also be a lantern launch.

 

This event helps us continue Emma’s mission of funding organizations that share the same passion for helping animals.
