Brookfield 4th of July Parade

The parade starts at 10:00 am.

All Independence Day Activities in the City of Brookfield will be held on THURSDAY, JULY 4, 2024.

Calhoun Road will close at approximately 9:30 AM
The parade will continue until all units have completed the route. In a typical year this ends at 11:30 AM-12:00 Noon.

Parade Spectator Guidelines
In the interest of public safety and fairness, the Independence Day Activities Committee is requesting that parade spectators refrain from obstructing or attempting to reserve any public right of way area (e.g. sidewalks, curb areas, medians) by placing chairs, blankets, tape, rope, tents, or any other item along the parade route before 7:00 PM the night before the parade. NO items may be placed on median strips until 7:00 AM on the morning of the parade. In addition, the placement of large and over-sized items that could potentially obstruct the view of other parade spectators is strongly discouraged. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

2024 Parade Route

*Join the Brookfield Public Library on July 3rd 11:00 AM in the Library’s East parking lot to decorate your bike for the Children’s Parade on July 4th.

Brookfield Family Fest

The Flag Raising Ceremony will take place on the Civic Plaza immediately following the parade.

Family Fest
Family Fest is in full swing at Mitchell Park from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. This annual pre-fireworks event features family-oriented activities and a variety of food, and entertainment. Come on out to the park earlier and find parking, have a picnic, enjoy the activities and entertainment, and stay for the fireworks extravaganza.

Fireworks will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2024
The fireworks begin at approximately 9:17 PM.
