Bring your kiddos to the annual Sussex 4th of July Kiddie Parade!
This year the Village of Sussex is going BIGGER than the Kiddie Parade! In honor of our nation’s 250th birthday, they are transforming the beloved Kiddie Parade into a full Community Walking Parade – open to all ages. Dress in your most patriotic gear and march with the community down Main Street to The Grove at Village Park, where free ice cream, playground fun, and the splashpad await!
Sussex 4th of July Kiddie Parade / Community Parade Schedule:
- 9:15 a.m. Decorate yourself, your bike, scooter, cozy coupe or whatever you choose, to ride in the Community Walking Parade. Line up in the Civic Center parking lot. No registration required.
- 9:30 a.m. Community Walking Parade starts. Participants in the Parade march west on Main Street to The Grove at Village Park. Spectators are encouraged to join in along Main Street!
- 10 a.m. Celebrate your arrival at The Grove after the parade with ICE CREAM! Bring your swimsuit and cool off at the splash pad!
