Pumpkin Train Rides

Come and join the Milwaukee Light Engineering Society for a ride in the dark on their Pumpkin Train Rides! Experience the railroad decorated for Halloween at their 18th Annual Pumpkin Train event. Family friendly… nothing scary! Bring the family and come enjoy their hobby with them. Limited concessions and restrooms are also available.

Special Event Admission is:

  • $10 per person over age 18
  • $5 per person age 4-18
  • FREE for ages 0-3
  • Cash only. You may ride as many times as you’d like.

  • Friday October 4 6p-9p
  • Saturday October 5 p-9p
  • Friday October 11 p-9p
  • Saturday October 12 6p-9p
  • Friday October 18 6p-9p
  • Saturday October 19 6p-9p
PLEASE NOTE: They have a limited capacity for the number of people which we can accommodate safely. They reserve the right to close the gate early or temporarily to limit the number of guests per the capacity limits and maintain a safe environment. The gate attendant can provide further information if needed.  The staff will continue to work with the members to schedule additional pumpkin train events as the season progresses. They need to make sure they have enough members and equipment available to operate and provide a safe experience. Please do not park along the shoulders of Country Aire Drive or surrounding roads. There is little room and the ditches are steep.
Important Event Information:
  • If for some reason they need to cancel an event due to weather or mechanical issues, information will be posted on their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/MLESRR
  • If you have older children, please consider coming around 7:30 to 8:00 PM, historically their crowd size dwindles at this time in the evening. They will load and depart trains from the station until 9:00 PM. Anyone who is in line at 9:00 PM will still be given a ride.
  • If you or a family member feel ill or have been recently exposed to an illness, please stay home.
  • The Picnic area is closed for the duration of our pumpkin train events.

 

They also run daytime trains. You can find information on those DAYTIME PUMPKIN TRAIN RIDES.
