Lucky Ducky Veteran’s River Race

The Delafield American Legion Post 196 is hosting a Lucky Ducky Veteran’s River Race this August 2023. Join the duck race to support several Veteran’s organizations. The duck race will be held at Delafield’s Liberty Park. Liberty Park is just off Hwy C in downtown Delafield.
On Sunday, August 6th starting at 12:00pm in downtown Delafield the event will begin. The ducks will start racing at the Highway C bridge along the Veterans River Walk to the Liberty Park Bridge. This event is sponsored by the Delafield American Legion Auxiliary to help support our local Veterans and the Delafield Legion building fund. Don’t miss your chance at adopting a numbered rubber duck ($5 each or 3 for $10) to win cash prizes to the first 5 lucky ducks ($500-$100). Rubber duck tickets are now available from Auxiliary volunteers, the DelaSpring Event May 20th, Delafield’s Farmers Market Saturday’s June 3rd-Aug 5th or the Delafield American Legion Wednesday evenings.
Adopt a duck for $5.
Adopt a family of 3 ducks for $10.
1st through 5th place ducks will receive cash prizes. You do not need to be present to win. Your duck can represent you!
The duck launch will be at noon.

Winners will be immediately announced at the Legion (333 North Lapham Peak Rd) following the race with food, drinks and a chance to win prizes at the Rubber Ducky Number Matching Game. Don’t miss this fun and “SpecQuackular” event to help support our local Veterans!
