Welcome to the annual Jump for Archie event held at Fowler Park in Oconomowoc. An afternoon and evening that provides for community building, resources, training, activities, events, music, memories, healing and self care. SOFA has partnered with quality organizations to provide resources and help around mental health, drug use/recovery, suicide prevention, grief, and trauma. Free and open to the public. These resource tables will be open from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Jump for Archie

When the Badura family lost Archie in 2014 to an accidental overdose, tragedy  became reality. During a boat ride with family and friends an impromptu “Jump for Archie, Jump for Life” occurred as everyone jumped into the lake, that warm May day. Join us as we continue to JUMP FOR ARCHIE in hope that others find recovery before they lose their battle, recognize those who provide support, and pray we all find our way together as we fight the stigma and give voice to the efforts that battle everyday on their journey.

Jump for Archie Walk

988 is the new 3 digit suicide prevention hotline. Creating awareness and providing resources is a core mission for SOFA. Walk or run the beautiful and safe 5k course around Fowler Lake in memory of someone who lost their battle, who still fights to find the next day, those who support them and those who loved them. Awareness that there is help! Hope that you can find your way.

Jump for Archie Concert

Local musician Ed Goff opens the show at 6:30pm

Headliner – The 52nd Street Band is a legendary Billy Joel cover band. Live outdoor music has been missed over the past couple of years. We are so grateful to have Tony Goff and his band play at this year’s event. They were scheduled to play for you at the SOFA event in May of 2020.
