Hartford Balloon Rally

The Harford Chamber of Commerce is super excited to announce the Hartford Balloon Rally will be August 7th, 2021 from noon to 8:00 pm at the Hartford Municipal Airport. The event will include a Balloon launch, a Night Glow, Fireworks, Vintage Airplanes, KMYA Group and More!
We’ll update this post as the event nears!
The Balloon Rally is rain or shine. We will announce if the balloon launch is canceled later this afternoon as it is weather dependent. Again, the balloons will launch 1.5/2 hours before sunset and will be arriving at the airport at 4pm for a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome the Balloon Rally back to the community.

12:00 – 7:00: Kid’s Activities
1:00- 5:00- Washington Coounty Sheriff Car
2:00 – 4:00: EMS
2:00 – 4:30: Safety Trailer
3:00 – 7:00: Dolce Duo’ & Company
5:00 – 5:30: Hartford Energizers Dance
ALL DAY BALLOON RALLY EVENTS
Flight Simulator: All Day (kids 12 & over)
Helicopter Rides: All Day ($50)
Hot Air Balloon Launch: 1 ½ Hours Before Sunset
Ping Pong Ball Drop: After Hot Air Balloon Launch
Hot Air Balloon Glow: 8:30 or when Balloons Return
Fireworks: After Balloon Glow
Food Trucks, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Kids Vendors & Beverages – All Day
**4:00 After Fireworks. Shuttle Service from Jack Russel Library Parking Lot & Schauer Center Parking Lot. Drop off at the airport in the handicap parking lot. Pick up from the parking lots is on the hour (4:00pm, 5:00pm, etc) and pick up from the airport is on the half hour (4:30pm, 5:30pm, etc).**
