This is a FREE community event.

It is a time to connect with fellow pregnant and breastfeeding moms and meet Peers/WIC/HHS staff, have some snacks, and take a commemorative group BF photo for those that want to participate! A photographer will be available to take BF and/or family pics free of charge. WIC participants can come early to pick up their FMNP before the event starts.

Details and agenda about the event:

This is a breastfeeding family friendly celebration for any pregnant, current or former breastfeeding mamas and their babies, families, children, spouses, friends, and their supporters. It does not matter how or the amount of time you provided breastmilk to your baby. This is a gathering for any and all who support and celebrate breastfeeding and each other. A group breastfeeding photo session will be at the end of event. It is a chance to gather as a community of breastfeeding moms to celebrate our efforts, achievements, and incredible bodies! We encourage to wear comfortable clothing- no dress requirements. We will take a group photo together while we are all nursing our babies (and toddlers!  ) Please note these images will be shared on social media.

Location: Waukesha HHS outdoor patio

Date: Wednesday, August 23rd.

Time: 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

We have an awesome hour prepared for all the participants:

– Balloons and Light Refreshments as each mom mingles with other moms and share experiences.

– A mini presentation related to infant or PP care from Life’s Connection

-Raffle prize

-Breastfeeding book reading for kids(optional)

-Informational table that will include handouts/freebies with different community resources from different organizations

-Commemorative latch photo
