Bands at the Beach, Oconomowoc

Enjoy a free summer concert on Fridays at Bands at the Beach! “Rock the Dock” with Buddy’s Beach Bungalow is back for 2026. Entertainment varies from rock to country music. All shows are family friendly. You can grab a refreshment at Buddy’s Beach Bungalow and grab a seat at the band shell, in the grass or on the sand.

The shows begin at 7:00 pm. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to enjoy the concert.

Buddy’s Beach Bungalow will be open for food and cold beverages. You may also bring your own refreshments into the park. The playground is open to children to play on, but the beach is closed (no lifeguards). We love taking in the views of the beach and lake from the grassy area as we listen to the music of the band. Parking in the lot is limited, but street parking is available and a short distance from a walk downtown.

These events are NOT rain or shine. Concerts will be cancelled due to inclement weather.

• May 29: The Boogie Men OPENING NIGHT OF THE SEASON!
• June 12: The Decade
• July 3: Aint That America – John Cougar Mellencamp Tribute
• July 31: The Off Band
• August 7: Take it Easy – The Eagles Tribute
• August 21: Breaking Cadence GRAND FINALE OF THE SEASON!

Our family loves attending the Bands at the Beach Summer Concerts every summer! 

Tips:

• Bring your own blankets and chairs
• Bring a small cooler of water and snacks
• Purchase some drinks and treats from Buddy’s Beach Bungalow to support the events so they can keep happening
• Come with friends!
• Get there a bit early before the grassy area fills up!
