Bring your family to Lapham Peak Events at the Hausmann Nature Center. There is a daily fee to enter the Lapham Peak State Park area. You’re best bet is to buy the annual pass, which is good for 12 months from the date of purchase. It’s less than $30 for the entire year!
Visit the Hausmann Nature Center this fall for all things nature.

You Find a Fawn by Kellie DuBay-Gillis
- Gather the kids and join in for a special morning at our home in the woods! They are excited to host a read-aloud session featuring the heartwarming book, “If You Find a Fawn” by Kelly Jordan. It’s a wonderful opportunity for young nature lovers to learn about the wildlife in our own backyard through a captivating story and beautiful illustrations. After the reading, stick around for coloring and to enjoy the trails and the natural beauty of the park! This is a free event but a state park sticker is required for entrance to the park. This book is recommended for ages 3-7.

Storytime at Hausmann Nature Center: SPECIAL GUEST READER: Delafield Mayor Tim Aicher reading My Pollinator Garden by Jordan Zwetchkenbaum
- Join in for story time with Special Guest Reader: Delafield Mayor, Tim Aicher. Stay after to color and visit the nature center exhibits. Mayor Aicher will be reading My Pollinator Garden: How I Plant for Bees, Butterflies, Beetles and More by Jordan Zwetchkenbaum. The program is free and all are welcome. This book is recommended for ages 3-6. A state park sticker is required for entrance to the park.
