This year Wauwatosa will be celebrating its Wauwatosa Night Out (Tosa’s Night Out) on Wednesday, August 7.

For three decades, this spirit has found its annual gathering in the beloved Tosa’s Night Out event. Tosa’s Night Out epitomizes the essence of community connection and togetherness. This year’s commemorative t-shirt, designed by the talented team at Catral Doyle Creative, captures the essence of the community event at Hart Park.

Scheduled for Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Hart Park, Tosa’s Night Out is set to be a jubilant affair, brimming with music, laughter, and the unmistakable warmth of community bonds. At the heart of this year’s design is a tribute to the event’s home at Hart Park, where memories have been made and friendships forged against the backdrop of its scenic beauty. But the celebration doesn’t stop there; in a nod to another cherished community tradition, the design also pays homage to the free Tosa Tonight concert, a testament to the rich tapestry of cultural experiences that define life in Wauwatosa.

However, the true magic of Tosa’s Night Out lies in its ability to bring people together, regardless of background or creed, under the banner of unity and solidarity. And just as the event itself unites the community, so too does the commemorative design, with the back of the t-shirt proudly featuring the logo of major sponsor Water Stone Bank. Their support not only underscores the importance of community partnerships but also serves as a reminder of the collective effort required to make events like Tosa’s Night Out possible year after year.

This is a free event for all but, if you register, you secure your limited edition t-shirt and bag, and a spot on the flashlight walk.

Tosa’s Night Out is intended to build and sustain community-police partnerships, empower citizens and businesses through community crime prevention education, and create a cooperative spirit that lasts long beyond the event itself. During our previous 25 years, TNO has grown beyond everyone’s expectations to include many first-rate offerings regarding health, wellness, and safety, while adding family priced food and refreshments, live entertainment, and our ever popular “Family Flashlight Walk”.

Tosa’s Night Out and the Tosa Tonight concert series will collaborate for this event. They are happy to announce that the bands for the night are Deacon Denzel & The Dirty Church Band with guests Andrew Gelles Band.

August 7, 2024 Fireworks at Hart Park

Wauwatosa is moving its annual fireworks program to align with Tosa Night Out on August 7, 2024. This is only for 2024. The event will be held in Hart Park.
