Join the Delafield Chamber of Commerce for their 7th Annual DelaFREEZE event in Delafield! The Delafield Chamber of Commerce and its business members come together to provide live ice carvings and fun activities throughout the Delafield Area.

Join in and bring your family for the 7th Annual DelaFREEZE event in Delafield!

Visitors are expected to come from many surrounding areas to stroll along Delafield and view the amazing works of art put into Ice Carving. This event is family-friendly and free for all ages. About 20 blocks of ice will be placed throughout the city. Each sculpture will be carved from a block of ice during our 10am to 3pm event. The walking map will walk visitors through the area to see all of the carvings.
Each sculpture will be carved from a 300-pound block of ice that has been frozen in a special process to ensure the blocks are crystal clear. The blocks are ten inches thick, twenty inches wide, and stand forty inches tall on a wooden stand. The live sculpture carving grabs many visitors’ attention! Visitors will be able to see the carver’s tools and watch them work as they transform the massive blocks of ice into an array of masterpieces.

Schedule of Events:

10:00-3:00: Follow the walking map to enjoy the Ice Sculptures

10:00-1:00: Meet and Greet with H2M2-WI Husky Huddle and Malamute Snow Dogs at Chamber Office (412 Genesee St.) Come visit the H2M2-WI Snow Dogs and their owners! As you visit, stop by the booth for Snow Awesome necklaces and Spirt tails with a donation.  Get your Snow Dogs lucky Coins

11:00-1:00: Visit with Louie, the Lake Country DockHounds mascot, who will be in Clocktower Square. (Also check out their table, which will be set up in Here’s the Scoop.)

11:00 am and 2:00 pm Ice Age Trail will be featuring Monte the Mammoth and leading walks to see the sculptures. Meet at Belfre Kitchen.

3:00 Ice Carving Prizes will be announced outside Revere’s Wells Street Tavern.

 

Activities to Enjoy:

Interactive Ice Carvings at ClockTower Square to include:

Tic Tac Toe, Wizard Ring Toss, Penguin Guess, and Bean Bag Toss, Castle Mini Golf.

Free Hot Chocolate at Great Harvest.

Enjoy Award-Winning Bloody Mary’s at the Revere’s Wells Street Station Ice Bar.

Enjoy Signature Winter Drinks at the Belfre’s Kitchen Ice Bar.

Relax and warm up with the Delafield Lion’s Club Chili at 653 Genesse St.

Check out the Giant Igloo sponsored by Serv-Pro Waukesha at Revere’s Wells Street Tavern.

Grab a cold one from Beergo located near Clocktower Square.

Stop in the Winter Market (running from 10-3) at Well House 1900.
