BuchnerFest, Waukesha

Head to Buchner Park on Saturday, June 13 from 10:00 am to noon for the annual Children’s festival and kick-off to the summer reading program.
Celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Club theme. Join in for “Unearth a Story” at the Waukesha Public Library and the opening of Buchner Pool! Join the Waukesha Public Library, Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department (WPRF), Waukesha County Dairy Promotions, and community partners for a fun-filled morning. Enjoy storytimes, activity stations, and sign up for our Summer Library Programs.

- Enjoy magical merriment and receive a tattoo and balloon animal from the Fairy Godmother Sisters.
- Join the library staff for fun, interactive stories.
- See the Cows in the Courtyard.
- Meet the summer WPRF staff and learn about all the wonderful youth programs the City of Waukesha has to offer.
- The event will conclude with FREE ice cream generously provided by the Waukesha County Dairy Promotion Committee!
