The Friends of HAWS 40th Annual Romp and Rally is set for Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at Sussex Village Park.
Fun for pets and their people is back! The Friends of HAWS are having their annual Romp ‘N Rally on Saturday, May 6 from 10AM-3PM at Sussex Village Park. Social pets are welcome! Dogs must remain safely on on a 6-8’ leash, no flexi-leads, and other pets should remain in carriers for safety.

10am-2pm Sussex Central Bark & HAWS Present the 1st Annual Dog Dash
11:30 am – Teach a Trick with the Behavior team
“Teach a Trick” – Teach your dog a fun new trick! HAWS Behavior Trainers will be hosting 2 group classes throughout the day to train dogs and their people the “Spin” command. Sign up at the behavior booth in advance!
12:00 pm – Behavior Team Trick Contest
Does your dog have a special trick to show-off? Impress our behavior team judges for a chance to win a prize! Two winners will be chosen by the HAWS Behavior Team: Most Unique Trick, and Best Executed Trick! Register at the behavior booth or meet us at the HAWS behavior booth ten minutes before the contest to qualify!
12:30 pm – German Shepherd Dog Club Demo
