The Congenital Heart Walk series directly supports the mission of The Children’s Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects (CHDs) by funding the most promising research. Our events include family-friendly activities and entertainment, remembrance, building our community, and exciting research updates about the progress you’re driving.

In 2020, despite the circumstances, 5,000 walkers, 800 teams, dozens of sponsors, and hundreds of family and researcher videos powered our mission at 28 Congenital Heart Walks across the U.S., raising more than $1 Million for CHD Research! Our virtual events provided so many beautiful moments and opportunities to gather through Walk Week activities, social connections, team meetups, live online hangouts, and at moving and special Walk Day programs. Come join us again in 2021 and help continue to fund critical CHD research! In 2021, we hope to return to in-person events later in the year – if it is safe to do so – and with extensive safety protocols in place, but all Congenital Heart Walks will continue to include virtual activities that have been so successful for us, and allow you to participate from anywhere! .
