HAWS Tales by the Fire is back!! Join the HAWS’ Staff at their farm property – Schallock Center for Animals.
Kick off summer with a warm, adventure-filled evening at the HAWS Schallock Center for Animals; the perfect seasonal celebration for families and animal lovers of all ages. Meet the resident goats and horses. Create a bird feeder to take home, splash into fun at the water table, and set out on a Summer Nature Walk the whole family can enjoy while filling out the BINGO sheet for a prize. End the evening gathered around the crackling fire with a s’mores kit while listening to animal themed stories that celebrate the magic of summer nights.
While the event starts at 5:30pm, families are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the property from 5:00-5:30!
There is a fee of $10 to attend.
**In September 2021, Lake Country mom, Jacqueline E. and her family registered, attended and were the only ones at the event. They received top notch treatment! Staff built a fire, and Pete’s Pops was present. Jacqueline relayed that her children had a blast as it was basically a private tour. Of course they found out about the event through Lake Country Family Fun, and we’re so happy to help their family make unforgettable memories!
