HAWS Family Fun on the Farm

Join HAWS’ Staff at our new farm property in Delafield – Schallock Center for Animals – for some fall themed fun: Family Fun on the Farms!

Family Fun on the Farm: Each month they will explore a different theme.

• February 13 – Animal Signs
  1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
  We’ll search for clues that will tell us which animals have been there and what they’ve been doing. (Snow shoes will be used if there is enough snow cover.)
• February 26 – Zen Paw Luminary Hike
  4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
  Experience the warm glow of candlelight on the snow-covered ground as we snowshoe along the trails. (This program is dependent on snow cover.)
• March 20 – Protect our Pollinators
  1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
  Help us discover which pollinators are visiting our gardens, do a count and learn why these insects are so important.
• April 17 – Celebrate Earth Day
  1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
  Show your appreciation for the earth by helping with a stewardship project.
• May 15 – Life in a Pond
  1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
  Come see what lives in and around the large pond .We’ll take a close look at which plants and animals call this ecosystem their home.
