Habitat Waukesha Annual Gingerbread Event

Join Habitat for Humanity in the smallest, and most unique build of the year. On December 4th, 2021, Habitat Waukesha will partner with The Corners of Brookfield to bring you their 7th annual Gingerbread Build!

DETAILS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HABITAT WAUKESHA ANNUAL GINGERBREAD EVENT:
- Decorate a gingerbread house (or bake your own from scratch) and they’ll display it at Von Maur for the day. The public can visit in person and vote for their favorite, and even bid on the houses that they’d like to take home for the holiday season!
- A limited number of pre-made gingerbread homes (donated from WCTC’s culinary school) are available for purchase, or you can build your own – just be sure to pay your property taxes to enter the contest.
Gingerbread Registration Information:
- Registration closes Friday, November 26th.
- $40 to enter the competition
- While supplies last, your registration fee includes one pre-made gingerbread house and a bag of royal icing.
- You may pick up your house at the Habitat for Humanity offices on November 19th between 10 AM and 3 PM.
- Registration is available online and in person. Visit www.habitatwaukesha.org to register online.
- Houses must be dropped off at Von Maur in The Corners by 11 AM on December 4th.
Gingerbread Event Contest Rules:
- Each registered contestant may enter 1 gingerbread house, no greater than 2’x2’x2′ and must be delivered to Von Maur in The Corners on Saturday, December 4th at 11AM.
- Houses may not contain meat, dairy, vegetables, or other perishable items.
- Habitat for Humanity is not responsible for damage to any entry at any time.
- All entries become property of Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County and may be auctioned or sold.
- Habitat may photograph and use entries for promotional and/or fundraising purposes.
- All proceeds from the event will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County.
