Gals Institute and Gals on the Go Project Open House

May 1, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

You are invited to the Gals Institute and Gals on the Go Project Open House in Delafield. Mark your calendars for May 1 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Gals Institute is a collaborative group of licensed clinicians providing therapy services, resiliency-building workshops, one-day events, and support groups in the Lake Country Area.  Owner and founder Deanna Marincic, MSW LCSW, opened the doors over three years ago to provide prevention programs and research-based therapy by caring providers that specialize in working with the family system.  They have grown their team to a group of 14 providers with more team members joining the team soon. The team consists of clinical and in-training licensed therapists who bring an incredible wealth of knowledge and expertise in their care for families. Additional clinical team members include a registered, licensed dietician, and all of the clients have access to the Mental Health Prescriber (NP).

Gals Institute is continually growing to meet the community’s needs and now has a sister foundation, Gals on the Go Project (GOTGP). GOTGP provides the above-mentioned resiliency-based workshops/events to local schools and organizations. They raise money to offer individual scholarships and grants to schools to meet the demand for socio-emotional needed support. If you wish to sponsor a child and support our mission, you can make a tax-deductible donation to Gals on the Go Project.

Gals on the Go Project is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established by Gals Institute.  The project’s mission is to improve the social and emotional well-being of children and adolescents through prevention and resiliency building workshops and other programs.  Our fun and interactive workshops focus on topics such as healthy relationships, resiliency building, effective coping strategies, confidence boosting, calming anxiety, and many others.  Gals on the Go Project events will be led by trained licensed clinicians through Gals Institute LLC.  “I Am, I Can, I Will” and “Calm, Cool, Capable” are among two of our trademarked workshops.

Funds raised will be used to offer individual scholarships to those who can’t afford mental health support and for schools and organizations who do not have funds in their budgets to provide socio-emotional education.  Since our inception in 2018, Gals on the Go Project has reached more than 1000 boys and girls in Waukesha County through our resiliency-based workshops.

Any donation big or small is needed and appreciated in order to sustain our programs.  Depression and anxiety are on the rise and the pressure on our kids is intensifying.  Prevention of mental health struggles is our goal.  We want to help children and adolescents build a toolbox of healthy coping strategies, self-compassion, and resiliency.  Help us, help them become stronger, more resilient, more engaged leaders in our community.
Please consider a donation today and be a part of Gals on the Go Project. While you are here, check out our Upcoming Events for other ways to support our mission!
