Frozen Assets Winter Festival

February 8 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Take your family to the Lake from Monday, February 3rd thru Sunday, February 9th, 2025 for the Annual Frozen Assets Winter Festival at The Edgewater on Lake Mendota in Madison.

Every year, Frozen Assets raises the profile of our lakes as one of our community’s greatest assets. The lakes truly are the center of our community all year long — not just in the summer. In the winter, our lakes become our community’s largest parks. Since 2012, Frozen Assets has raised more than $1,200,000 for lake improvement projects, educational programs, and water quality monitoring.

The main fun is Saturday, February 8, 2025.

About The Edgewater

The Edgewater, an urban resort, offers visitors the ultimate Madison experience along the shores of Lake Mendota. The hotel first opened its doors in 1948 and quickly became recognized as a prominent part of the community and culture. The Edgewater has a rich history and throughout the years has hosted an array of celebrities, including Elvis Presley, Elton John, Bob Hope and the Dalai Lama, among many others. Privately owned and operated by a team that lives in – and loves – their city, the hotel reopened after a $100 million renovation in the fall of 2014. No effort was spared to showcase the property’s breathtaking views, offer unique amenities and focus on creating Madison’s place, a community-focused hub of activity that is free and open to the public year-round. The Edgewater is a member of Historic Hotels of America. To learn more, visit www.theedgewater.com.
