The Cardboard Boat Regatta is a fun and unique event held at City Beach in Oconomowoc, where participants build boats entirely out of cardboard and compete in a race. Each boat must carry two people, who will paddle their way to the finish line.

The competition is divided into two divisions: one for children and one for adults. Participants can compete for various awards, such as the Most Creative Boat and Fastest Boat.

Approved materials include: corrugated cardboard, cardboard blocks, cardboard tubes, newspapers, liquid nails, latex paint, reinforced paper tape, quick drying caulking latex, modge/deco podge.

While entry to the event is free, all proceeds from food and beverage sales will be donated to Toto Territory. Sign up to participate at Cornerstone Bar or Splash Martini Bar.

Participant arrival is at 10 am. Races will begin at 11 am.

The regatta is organized by Buddy’s Beach Bungalow. Everyone’s favorite snack shop located at City Beach.
