What’s new at Oktoberfest this year?
Oh my… in addition to great food, music, and fun, be sure to check out the following:
  • The Little Lederhosen Express enhances the Family Area with free train rides
  • OK, not new but they are excited to bring back the internationally performing band The Dreadnoughts “dig deep into folk traditions, unearthing the raw power of polkas, waltzes, and klezmer dances and playing them as they are meant to be played. All backed by the gut-punching raw power of modern street punk.” Ready for some fun?

Alcohol must remain in the Oktoberfest area at all times.
Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited in tents.

Can I bring a bag? Water? Food? My own beer?
Yes, yes, yes, and NO.

  • There are no bag restrictions
  • You are welcome to bring your own water
  • You can certainly bring in your own food, but why? We have some amazing food options and several service groups working hard to bring you great food, make some money, and support the community while they work to make your Oktoberfest experience fun
  • Sorry, no carry-ins of alcohol per ordinance 11.27(4). Please purchase your beer from the designated concessions stands to help support Oktoberfest and keep entrance to the event free of charge.

Do they sell food at Oktoberfest?

YES! Get the giant pretzel! They have amazing vendors selling brats, spanferkel, wiener schnitzel, burgers, pretzels, and so much more! The Rotary Club of Waukesha, the Citizens Police Academy Association, the Waukesha Lions Club, and the Sunrise Rotary, along with several small, local businesses, all benefit when you eat your way through Oktoberfest. Enjoy!

Do they take cash?
Of course! But you’ll need to exchange it for an Oktoberfest gift card at the cash kiosk. All of the vendors will accept credit/debit cards and Oktoberfest gift cards.

Can I bring a chair?
You can, but you don’t have to. They will have lots of communal beer garden tables. Pull up, say Guten Tag, and meet new friends. It’s all about community at Oktoberfest. Everyone is all here to have a wonderful time, right?

Can I reserve a table?
But of course! Reserve your table for either Friday and/or Saturday for $225. That gets you a table for 4 hours and a $200 Oktoberfest gift card to spend as you wish. Tables available for purchase starting August 17 for residents and August 20 for non-residents.
