Beauty Inside & Out Workshop by Thrive Together WI UPDATE~~ SOLD OUT!!
Cultivating self-esteem and body acceptance in a social media obsessed world.
Calling girls in 5th-8th grade! The Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County is sponsoring this upcoming Beauty Inside and Out workshop, making it FREE! Join in to:
- Challenge the myth of perfection
- Explore unique gifts and areas of strength
- Learn self-care techniques and develop a self-care plan
- Explore techniques and skills that develop confidence in healthy ways
- Discover kid-friendly techniques to improve leadership skills
The Thrive Together workshops are created by a licensed therapist to focus on what skills are needed at a child’s current developmental and maturity level. Let them set your child up for success by teaching them skills they will use for the rest of their lives through fun activities such as:
- Decorating a journal and water bottle to use in the workshop and once they get home
- Make a body scrub or scent roller while learning about self care
- Eat a snack while learning about foods that fuel their bodies
- Visit multiple craft stations to make additional self care tools
- Learn about regulation through movement and mediation
