Women’s Jiu Jitsu Seminar and Open Mat –
Underground Jiu Jitsu invites women from the Jiu Jitsu community to participate in the “Wild. Beautiful. Rebel.” Women’s Seminar and Open Mat, a special event to benefit the Sojourner Family Peace Center in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This event offers invaluable instruction from accomplished Jiu Jitsu practitioners, Rachel C. Malik, Brooke Crawley, and Chelsea Cayemberg with open roll time after each session.
Jiu Jitsu has been increasingly recognized for its ability to empower women. By learning self-defense techniques and enhancing physical fitness, women are able to build confidence, self-esteem and a sense of community. Underground Jiu Jitsu is proud to host this event that not only promotes the sport but also supports a cause that aligns with the spirit of empowerment inherent in Jiu Jitsu.
This is a free event and a great opportunity for women within the Jiu Jitsu community to come together, learn from each other, and contribute to a worthy cause. The Sojourner Family Peace Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families affected by domestic violence. This event will help raise awareness and provide support for the invaluable work they do.
In conclusion, the Women’s Seminar and Open Mat event is more than just a gathering for Jiu Jitsu practitioners. It is a testament to the power of the sport in empowering women, and a celebration of a community coming together for a noble cause. Underground Jiu Jitsu LLC looks forward to welcoming women from the Jiu Jitsu community for a day of learning, fun, and solidarity.
