Waukesha County 4-H Love Bug: Stuffing & Sewing Session

Waukesha County 4-H Love Bug: Stuffing & Sewing Session
Waukesha County 4-H invites you to participate in this Love Bug: Stuffing & Sewing Session.
This is a county-wide, community service event spearheaded by a 4-H youth to bring a friendly bug to help make a child’s day when police & fire crews respond to calls in the community. All Love Bugs will be donated to local police & fire stations in Waukesha County. All donated forms (Love Bug shells) will be completed (stuffed & sewn) on June 18, 2026 at the Waukesha Public Library, Program Room A, from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
4-H members, families, and the Waukesha County community are invited to help complete these forms during this stuffing & sewing session. Guidance and support will be provided by 4-H volunteers & educators.
This is NOT a drop off event for youth, all parents & guardians must stay with and support their youth to stuff & sew the Love Bugs.
If you would like to receive the pattern and sew Love Bugs (beginner level sewing skills needed) to participate in this Service Project or if you have any questions about this event or the Love Bug county-wide service project please contact Sara Wells-Tomjanovich, stomjanovich@wisc.edu.
Love Bug forms can be sewn & donated now through June 5th and can be turned into the Waukesha County 4-H office located at the Waukesha Courthouse: 515 W Moreland Blvd, AC G22, Waukesha, WI 53188, Monday – Friday 8am-4:30m.
