Today I invite you to be part of a new fundraising initiative, “A Taste of Africa” which will benefit Sojourner Truth House Shelter Programs. Sojourner is widely respected as one of the largest providers of domestic violence prevention and shelter services in the State of Wisconsin, serving on average more than 10,600 people over the last five years. This cultural celebration will be held in honor of Dolly Grimes-Johnson who was the shelter director for 36 years. Come join us as we celebrate a Milwaukee icon and raise money for an amazing cause!
