The 42nd Annual Hartland Business Trick or Treat will be on Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Costumed children through sixth grade are invited to join in the Halloween festivities. The participating businesses will exhibit an official Halloween poster in their window. Children may start at ANY location and are asked to go only to participating businesses displaying the official orange “Participant” poster.

Free Goodie Bags!
Stop by the Hartland Chamber of Commerce (300 Cottonwood Ave.) to pick up a complimentary trick-or-treat bag. Bags are available to the first 1,000 children, so be sure to arrive early! We also recommend bringing your own bag in case supplies run out. Volunteers will help distribute the bags.

Safety First
NEW THIS YEAR! Cottonwood Avenue and Capitol Drive will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event, creating an even more enjoyable experience for families. Children must be accompanied by an adult and should continue to use caution when crossing near barricades, with assistance from our volunteers and the Hartland Police Department.

Rain or Shine
Come prepared for the weather. They will be celebrating Halloween together, rain or shine!

This event goes on Rain or Shine so dress accordingly!
